Crop PDF Pages and Trim Margins

Crop a PDF by trimming its margins or drawing the area to keep, on a single page, selected pages or the whole document. It all happens in your browser: nothing is uploaded and there's no file-size limit.

How to use Crop PDF

  1. Choose a PDF to crop.
  2. Drag a box over the area to keep, or type the Margins in points (72 points = 1 inch).
  3. Under Apply to, pick This page, All pages or Pages… and enter a range.
  4. Click Crop, then download the PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I crop a PDF page?

Open the PDF, drag a box over the part you want to keep, choose which pages it applies to, and click Crop.

Does cropping a PDF delete the content outside the crop?

No. Cropping sets the visible area of the page (its crop box), so the rest is hidden in readers but still in the file. If you need content gone for good, use Redact PDF.

Does cropping make the PDF smaller?

Not noticeably, because the hidden content stays in the file. To reduce the size, run Compress PDF afterwards.

Can I crop all pages of a PDF at once?

Yes. Set Apply to All pages and the same crop is used on every page.

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. Nothing is re-rendered; only the visible area changes, so text stays sharp and selectable.

Is my PDF uploaded to crop it?

No. Cropping happens in your browser.
