Free Online Image Tools

27 free image tools that run in your browser: shrink a photo or signature to fit an online form, make a passport-size photo, convert iPhone HEIC to JPG, or create QR codes and favicons. Your images never leave your device, with no file-size cap, no daily limit and no sign-up. Most used: Image Compressor, Compress to 50 KB, Passport Size Photo, HEIC to JPG and Image Resizer.

How to use Image Tools

  1. Choose the tool for the job from the groups below, or press Ctrl+K anywhere and type its name.
  2. Drop your images on the page, choose files, or paste from the clipboard. iPhone HEIC photos open too.
  3. Set the size, quality or format, then download each image, or several at once as a .zip where the tool takes many files.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The image tools decode and re-encode pictures with your browser's own canvas and WebAssembly, so the files stay on your device.

How do I reduce a photo to 20 KB for an online form?

Open Compress Image to 20KB and drop the photo in. It lowers the quality and, if needed, the dimensions until the file is at most 20,000 bytes, and shows the exact size. For other limits use the 50 KB, 100 KB or 200 KB pages.

Which image formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, SVG and iPhone HEIC/HEIF can be opened. Most tools save JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF. The Favicon Generator also makes .ico files, the SVG Optimizer and QR Code Generator give SVG, and Image to Base64 gives text you can paste into code.

Can I process many images at once?

Yes. The compressor, the compress-to-size pages, the HEIC, WebP and AVIF converters and the quick converters such as PNG to JPG take many files at a time and offer them as one .zip download. The resizer and cropper work on one image at a time.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in a web browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS.

Photos and signatures for online forms

Many Indian application portals, such as those for exams, jobs and government services, accept a photo or signature only under a file-size limit, often a few tens of KB, and sometimes at set dimensions. Check the exact limits in the official notice, then:
