Design 1200×630 Open Graph images for link previews on social networks and chat apps, and copy the matching meta tags. The image is drawn in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and there's no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions
What is an OG image?
An Open Graph image is the picture shown when a link is shared on social media or chat apps. It's set with the og:image meta tag.
What size should an OG image be?
1200x630 pixels (about 1.91:1) is the widely used size, and it's what this generator produces.
How do I add an OG image to my site?
Upload the downloaded image to your site and paste the generated meta tags into the head of the page. The tags assume the image is at /og-image.png (or .jpg) on your domain; update the URL if you put it elsewhere. It must be a full https:// address.
Do I need a separate image for X (Twitter)?
No. The tags include twitter:card set to summary_large_image, so X uses the same 1200×630 image.
Why does my link still show the old image?
Sites cache previews. Re-scrape the page with Facebook's Sharing Debugger or LinkedIn's Post Inspector, or give the image a new file name so the URL changes.
Is my design uploaded?
No. The image is drawn in your browser and downloaded directly.

Design tips
Keep the title short and centred: some apps crop the edges or show the preview small.
Use PNG for text and flat colours, JPEG if you add a photo background, and keep the file well under a few MB.
Need a site icon too? Make one with the favicon generator. To fit an existing picture to 1200×630, use the image resizer.
